How it works

From “save for later” to saved for real

That folder of bookmarked cooking videos you never reopen? Recibase turns it into a cookbook.

01

Share or paste a link

Send a video straight from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or X with the share sheet — or just paste the URL into the app.

  • Share sheet or paste — both work
  • YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X & Facebook
02

We do the reading

Recibase listens to the video, understands the recipe, and structures every ingredient, quantity, and step — even when there are no captions.

  • No captions needed
  • Any language the creator cooks in

Features

Everything between craving and cooking

Paste any video link

Full-length YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikToks, X posts, Facebook videos — one box handles them all, in any language the creator cooks in.

No captions? No problem

When a video has no subtitles, Recibase listens to the audio itself — the silent killer feature caption-only apps can’t match.

A library that sticks

Save every recipe to your personal library. Search it, reopen it years later — no more dead links and vanished Reels.

Plan your week ahead

A weekly calendar for your cooking: drop recipes onto days and meal slots, and always know what’s for dinner on Thursday.

Groceries, generated

Turn your meal plan — or any single recipe — into a shopping list in one tap, and check items off at the store.

Share as a PDF

Export any recipe as a beautiful card and send it to the family group chat — no app required on their end.

FAQ

Fair questions

Which platforms can I extract recipes from?

YouTube (including Shorts), Instagram Reels, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Facebook video links. If a link plays a cooking video, chances are Recibase can read it.

What if the video has no captions?

Recibase transcribes the audio itself, so caption-less Reels and Shorts work too. If the creator talks through the recipe, we can card it.

Does it work with videos in other languages?

Yes — source videos can be in many languages, and you still get a clean, structured recipe card.

What happens to my recipes if I cancel?

Your library is never deleted. If you re-subscribe later, everything is exactly where you left it.

Do repeat extractions count against my quota?

No. If a video has already been extracted by anyone on Recibase, opening it is instant and free — it doesn’t touch your monthly quota.
