These terms govern your use of the Recibase app and website. By creating an account or using Recibase, you agree to them.

The service

Recibase converts publicly available cooking videos into structured recipe cards using automated transcription and AI. Recipes are generated from the creator’s own words; we don’t guarantee accuracy, completeness, or that a dish will turn out well. Always use your judgment, especially with cooking temperatures, allergens, and dietary requirements.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app (More → Account).

Acceptable use

• Only submit links to content you can lawfully access.
• Don’t attempt to circumvent quotas, rate limits, or technical protections.
• Don’t use Recibase to build a competing extraction dataset or scrape our catalog.
• Don’t use the service in a way that harms others or violates the law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans are billed through the App Store or Google Play as auto-renewing subscriptions.
• You can cancel anytime in your store account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled by the app stores under their policies.
• The Unlimited plan is subject to a fair-use cap to prevent abuse.
• If you cancel, your saved library is preserved and restored if you re-subscribe.

Content & intellectual property

Video content belongs to its creators and platforms. Recipe facts (ingredients and method) are extracted for your personal, non-commercial cooking use. The Recibase app, brand, and catalog structure are our property. You retain nothing less than the rights you already had in anything you submit.

Disclaimers & liability

Recibase is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
